The Deaf Rochester Film Festival (DRFF) is now accepting film submissions! All lengths and genres are accepted for possible consideration, including experimental, animation, documentary, narrative, and student films. Please review DRFF's screening criteria before you fill out submission form. The festival program will be announced by early March.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing students attending middle school (international level: intermediate school, junior high school, or lower secondary school) or high school (international level: secondary school, lower secondary education or upper secondary education) are encouraged to enter the Jr. DRFF competition. All genres of films, running 5 minutes or less, will be accepted for consideration. Please review Jr. DRFF criteria before you apply.

The Dyer Arts Center is collaborating with Deaf Rochester Film Festival on a video installation exhibition featuring digital media art! Artists must be Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Digital Media art is a broad category including video art, motion graphics, sound art, experimental video, GIF, animation and more. Please review the criteria before submitting. Workshop proposals for the Deaf Rochester Film Festival 2020 are now being accepted and will be reviewed by the Deaf Rochester Film Festival Committee. DRFF is looking for emerging filmmakers, directors, and writers from diverse production companies and organizations to submit workshop proposals. All workshops will take place during the week of April 14 - 18, 2020. Please review the workshop criteria before submitting your proposal.
